Travis Tritt will appear at a sold-out show at the Don Gibson Theatre, in Shelby, on May 9. He performed at the venue in 2013 to a sold-out crowd. Executive director Stan Lowery said tickets to the May show went on sale last November and sold out within three weeks.
“The concert that he puts on here is an acoustic show. It’s more personal. People get to see Travis Tritt, not just a big, flashy band,” Lowery said. “It’s just more of who he is. I think that appeals to a lot of folks, getting closer to an artist as big as he is.”
