Sets Record Attendance at Hollywood Casino Toledo
Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and performer, country music legend Travis Tritt continues to sell out venues on his tour. Saturday night, he packed in the Hollywood Casino Toledo in Toledo, OH with the largest crowd the outdoor concert venue has seen for a blazing hot performance that got the audience to its feet.
And on some nights during this string of dates, Travis is more than at home on the stage, with a little bit of home actually joining him onstage. Tritt was joined by his daughter Tyler Reese recently for their first live performance of their acclaimed duet “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough.” The 15-year-old made her debut at shows in Western New York and West Virginia last month and received standing ovations with her father after their performance of the Patty Smyth-Don Henley classic. The cut is the first single from Travis’ new album The Calm After …, which was released on his Post Oak Recordings label, and Billboard praises, “”Tritt’s vocal is soaring and impressive, as you would expect it to be, but also shining bright on the classic is his daughter, Tyler Reese – who sounds a lot more mature than her years. I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of her. At the same time, I hope her father doesn’t make it too long between albums. We need Travis Tritt around. This disc is a sterling reminder why!”
The Calm After … is an updated version of his 2007 release The Storm and marks the end of a tumultuous legal battle with his previous record label. Released, appropriately, on Father’s Day, “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” is one of two previously unreleased tracks on the album. Travis continues on tour, with a packed schedule through the fall. Select dates will also include Tyler Reese joining her dad as a special guest. For the full itinerary visit
