The Showroom at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino recently hosted the one and only Travis Tritt. Taking the stage before a full house, he did not disappoint. Performing both old and new music, the fans sang along. Travis shared several personal stories about his early days on the country music scene and joked about him being known as an outlaw just because he didn’t fit the cookie cutter image.
While the entire show was fantastic, my most favorite part was when he sat and sang his beautiful song “Tell Me I was Dreaming.” As I looked around, so many fans were signing and even a few tears were shed. Now let’s not forget about his rocking country music that had everyone on their feet with his songs “T-R-O-U-B-L-E”, “Here’s A Quarter” and “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive”. He proved that after all these years, he still has it.
Travis also had a surprise for everyone. He invited his daughter Tyler Reese out on the stage with him to sing. They performed a beautiful duet “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” and you could just feel the close bond between the two. The apple definitely didn’t fall far from the tree. She is a talented young lady with such a beautiful voice.
Here’s hoping Travis Tritt makes it back to our area soon. What an amazing evening!
