“….probably my favorite memory from the party is something that I still can’t believe really happened.
You see, when I was a third-grader, I was a big country music fan. One day we were told we should bring in our favorite song to play for the class.
The song I wanted to take? Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart’s “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’ Anymore.”
Needless to say, my parents weren’t fans of that idea and suggested something a little more third-grade appropriate.
